William Shakespeare portrayed himself as a feminist through some of his most important writings. William Shakespeare’s writing has a large impact on society today. He had a way of writing that portrayed deeper meanings. You had to really look deep and analyze each word to find it. He had an ordinary life, but it was one of nobility. Shakespeare’s poetry definitely had an influence on today’s society. His poetry had a good clout, but his plays probably had the largest impact. Also like any other good playwright / writer he had things that inspired him. Shakespeare influenced the present greatly.

Shakespeare lead a life of poverty and didn’t continue his education after 18. He overall had a rough life, but made good of it in his writing. He wasn’t born into a wealthy family, they were nobility. His father, John Shakespeare, was a glove maker and tradesman. His mother, Mary Arden, was the daughter of an affluent farmer. He was believed to be born on April 23. Because at that time children were baptized three days after they were born. He was baptized on the 26th of April, in 1564. He was 52 when he passed away on April 23, 1616. One site quoted “Within the class system of Elizabeth England, William Shakespeare did not seem destined for greatness.”. In a way it was a valid point. He had seven other siblings he had to compete with. His family wasn’t wealthy and his father struggled with finances. He also relied on royal patronage to become a successful playwright / writer.…
