William Shakespeare Research Paper

I have always been interested in Shakespeare; however, not until now, did I start to wonder if all this famous literature I have been reading, had not been attributed to the person I’ve always thought it was? This project will help me identify important facts and theories to who the true author is of what we call “Shakespearean Works.” Starting off, I’ve always believed that William Shakespeare authored his works but I did not actually read any of his works before so this may change by the end of my research. My main priority is to first, start looking at websites that compare the mood and similar writing styles of Shakespeare because to follow up in an author’s books that you really like, you can really start to notice a pattern in their words and ways with a story. As of right now, going into this project, the only person who is attributed to the “Shakespearean works” is William Shakespeare himself; however, there is still room for doubt.

This site is ran by the WGBH Educational Foundation in which I read an argument from David Bevington through the Frontline Page. Frontline is an investigative journal that questions then explains and changes our world and in this case, I read an investigation about Shakespeare’s true authorship. The author of the argument: David Bevington is a professional professor of English Language and Literature at the University of Chicago. He also edited and introduced the complete works of William Shakespeare and remains the only living scholar to have personally edited Shakespeare’s complete corpus. That is why I find his argument trustworthy because he must contain much knowledge about the Shakespearean works from comparing and studying
