William Shakespeare was a renowned in prolific actor, play right, and poet. He is generally considered as the most influential and prominent writer of the 17th century and is known worldwide for his various famous works. However, there's much mystery surrounding William Shakespeare's life. My purpose in writing this paper is to inform on the life, works and influences of Shakespeare, and speculation surrounding his extravagant life.

Very few records were kept from his childhood and what were documented Are very vague in details. Because he came from a relatively well-off merchant family, he did not lack in resources or quality schooling. Scholars have surmised that Shakespeare most likely attended the King's New School in Stratford ( “William Shakespeare Biography”). King’s New School Focus on grammar, including the memorization, writing and acting of Latin plays. Many people believe this is when William Shakespeare “fell in love” with writing and performing. The most popular works written at this time include “Julius Caesar”, “Romeo and Juliet”, and “ Macbeth”. In the 10 years before his death, Shakespeare penned over 30 plays, not including numerous sonnets and poems. In 1616 on April 23rd, William Shakespeare mysteriously died of unknown causes. On his gravestone that resides in Stratford, Shakespeare had an epitaph inscribed to ward off grave robbers with a curse (“Shakespeare's Death & Legacy”). The supposed curse reads “Blessed be the man that spares these stones, / And curse be he that moves my bones.” To the dismay of archaeologists and conspirators that yearn to unveil Shakespeare's true cause of death, his remains have not yet been on dug from his
