He work as a partner for the Kings Men theatrical company. During this time he published two of his poems "Venus and Adonis" in 1593 and "The Rape of Lucrece" in 1594. These were his first to poems. By 1597 Shakespeare had written thirty seven plays and fifteen of them had been published and preformed. With the money from his plays and poems he bought the second biggest house in Stratford, which he did not spend a lot of time in, due to the distance to travel to get to London, it took four days by horse to get from his house to London. In 1599 Shakespeare built his own theater on the water front of the Thames River, he called it the Globe. The globe was a circle shaped building, to help the sound travel better, its maximum capacity hit around three thousands. William Shakespeare died on his fifty second birthday.in his will he left almost everything to his oldest daughter Susanna, he left his wife with “the second best bed” which shows us that he did not care for her very much. He dedicated his life to writing and acting, his entire life only consisted of Writing and acting day in and day out.
