What would you do if you and some of your friends found someone lying on the ground unconscious? In life, there is always the question of how do ordinary people become an agent of evil. Every day in life, someone will probably be thinking about that. There are many reasons that people can become an agent of evil. By using Articles 1, 2, 3, 4, Night, and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, evidence was found that ordinary people can become agents of evil, both on purpose and by accident. Some people become agents of evil through bystander apathy, inflicting pain on someone, both intentionally and unintentionally, and by disliking a group of people and going to extreme measures when it comes to those people.
Someone can become an agent of evil by succumbing to bystander apathy and ending up not helping someone who may need help. A great example of this was in Article 4. The lady who was helping the man who had been injured, was asking a man to borrow his coat. In response to the question the man replied, “‘No,’” (McCartney).
