William McKinley was a successful president; he did great things up until his assassination. He was most known for leading the United States of America through war with Spain even though it was controversial. His foreign policies were difficult and I feel like most of his choices were. McKinley was open to question with most historians but, I believe he opened the mind of the public and forced them to think a different way.
