People tend to call him a tragic genius instead of genius although he enjoyed unbelievable talent in almost every fields. His book < Talks to Teachers on Psychology: and to Students on Some of Life’s Ideals ,1899 > not only brought light to psychology but also sheded lights on education. This also added to his achievement considering he made contributions to education field as well. It was because of this book, people came to realize the fact that psychology could be used in education, not only to study the behavior of students and children but also to study the way of teaching and how teachers could find the potential of their students5,6.
In conclusion, William James was no doubts to be an influential genius in psychologist in the world. But what made him so different from the others was his struggle to make a better life, his complex experience in academic and the fact that although he was always in bad physical conditions he never stopped for seeking a happier life.
