William H. Bonney, also known as Billy the Kid, was a wild west figure who many people see as worse than he actually was. He was not a terrible kid who killed a ton of people, but he did kill some. The reasoning for the killings were reasonable, they weren’t just because he was crazy and enjoyed killing people. Two of the people he killed were killed when he was trying to escape from jail. Many things about Billy the Kid remain a mystery today. Nobody knows his exact date of birth and nobody knows who his father was. In 1974, his mother died and he was forced to learn to live on his own. As a result of lack of parental guidance, he fell into the wrong group of people and began his life as an outlaw.
