William Dean Thoms was born on a cool spring day on May 9 1941; He grew up with a single mother named Eleanor (August 2 1899-January 16 1969) in Ironton MN in a two story house which had two rooms upstairs, dining room, kitchen, and one bathroom down stairs. He had one brother that was much older than him named Earl, he was in the military. William also grew up with two sisters the oldest sister was named Jacky she was born on Oct 12 1927; but on a sad day May 24th 1998; she died. William also has a sister who lives in California named Pat. William was the tallest one of the family. While growing up going to church was important for his entire family. The things William has always thanked God for are the trees and the sky. (The things he doesn’t thank god for are snakes and spiders he has never …show more content…
When it was fall thanksgiving came and the family would get together. Just like most people William liked and disliked food his favorite foods are his moms Mac and Cheese, fried chicken. He also liked sea food and stake, and because he is human he also doesn’t like all food his least favorite are apricots, dates, salad, and but the one food William hated the most was liver. When winter came Christmas comes then the family would all open all the presents on Christmas Eve. William never met his grandparents on either side of the family. The one person William would like to meet would be Tom Hanks, if he did get to meet him he said he would like to go sightseeing. As William grew up he went to all public schools. Once he was old enough he went to Crosby Ironton high school. His favorite subject in school was history, but like most people the subject he didn’t like was math.
