Having a sibling can help people accomplish things that could not be done before. In this story a boy named Doodle was born with a big head and a small body, he was not like the other kids he could not walk or even stand by himself, he had an older brother that pushed him around in a go cart wherever he went and he taught him how to walk and do things that nobody thought he could. The brother is a good brother because he helped William Armstrong or Doodle accomplish many important skills. Doodle went everywhere with his brother no matter how sick brother was of doing it. Doodle or William Armstrong was born with a big head and a really small body so he could not walk on his own and all he could do is crawl, but he could not turn around

When the brother first went out to teach Doodle how to walk doodle would get up and fall right down like a “half-empty sack of flour” When he got up, he said he could not do I and the brother said Why not and doodle said that everybody had no faith in him. But after going out all summer and getting on his feet 100 times every afternoon he finally got it. “Finally one day after many weeks of practice, he stood alone for a few seconds. When he fell, I grabbed him in my arms and hugged him, our laughter peeling through the swamp like a ringing bell”(Hurst 3). This quote shows how bad the brother wanted Doodle to walk because he spent so much time with Doodle all of the time they spent together bettered their relationship as brothers. Doodle didn't want to learn how to walk, but the brother stuck with it because he knew he could do it. The evidence shows the brotherhood because he cared about Doodle and becoming a normal person that can go to school and do the thing that the other kids can. Doodles skills that the brother thought him wasn't enough when he tried to outrun the storm with the brother but couldn't keep up and got caught in it and the brother did not go back to get him and he ended up dying. After spending the whole summer helping doodle him finally accomplish something and they became good
