Will Grayson Characteristics

The annoyed easily, careless, disrespectful, and mysterious Will collides with the outgoing, loving, strong willed, and happy-go-lucky Will in the street - minds and traits are changed, hearts are warmed and being a nice person isn’t such a terrible thing.
The main character in the book Will Grayson, Will Grayson, happens to be Will. This Will is only heard of in the odd chapters of the book. Will has many characteristics, including being annoyed often, careless, disrespectful, and mysterious. I’m convinced Will’s main characteristic that describes him would be being mysterious. This is showing his disrespects by his way of replying to his mother and how he finds it so terrible to talk and have a conversation with her when all she's trying to do is be a nice mother and make his friend a salad not hers. The last characteristic of Will is very careless in the ways he considers himself, “she asks if I took my pills this morning and i tell her yeah, wouldn’t i be drowning myself in the bathtub if i hadn’t” (Green/Levithan 34). He is making it seem that his depression is something that makes him a more of a disappointment to his mother and everyone else around him, he also makes this impression of a careless self-image by the way he writes, he never capitalizes i’s or anything referring to him as well or anything referring to him as something more than trash. Another example of him being careless is the way he speaks of his parents - “You know how people are always saying your parents are always right? ‘Follow your parents’ advice; they know what's good for you.’ And you know how no one ever listens to them, especially me, because even if it is true it’s so annoying and condescending that it just makes you want to go develop a meth
