First of all the Grimm Fairy Tales started off with two brothers, Wilhelm and Jacob. Wilhelm Carl Grimm was born on February 24, 1786, and Jacob Ludwig Carl Grimm was born on January 4, 1785.They Lived in Hanau Germany. Their parents,Dorothea and Philip Grimm had 6 children in total.Their dad use to work as a lawyer up to 1796 when he died.This effected the brothers and family.Great poverty came upon them. Both Jacob and Wilhelm went to study Legal Study in the University of Marburg. The Study went on from,1802-1806. When attending they both had an interest in German folklore this then grew into a lifelong dedication to collecting German folk tales.
