Decent Essays
Professor, I have a question about the grade. So I have took the reading quiz, Q0102 in Wiley, and after I finished the assignment I tried to review my score and it shows I got zero. I thought I got at least one of them right, but then it does not show me the right answers . I just want to make sure does the grade shows up only after the due dates, but then in ecampus it says i got zero too.
Just want to make sure how it works.

Through taking the Quality and Culture Quiz, I learned that I am not as culturally sensitive or aware of the customs and beliefs of other cultures as I previously believed I was. Additionally, I learned that a deficit in cultural competence can affect not only relationships with patients, but also “impede the process of making an accurate diagnosis, cause the provider to order contraindicated medication, and reduce adherence with recommended treatment” (Quality and Culture Quiz, n.d., pp. 1). While two of my grandparents immigrated to America from other countries, my family has adopted the Western lifestyle and associated with traditions, beliefs and values that represent the Western culture.…

You look around and all you see are black men and women captured in various mediums by the artist where you can clearly see the uniqueness. At the center of the exhibit are glass stain portraits; sculptures surround half the room and the other half has 22k gold leaf, oil on wood panel or oil on linen paintings. Before this course, I did not know grammar well, and what I did know I did not fully understand. Yet, due to taking the course, I learned more about the structure of the English language, and can use grammar better than I did before. For instance, the first three major assignments were filled with missing comas, verb-tense misuses, and run-on sentences. Now, I may still make mistakes, but I know why I have made them. In other English courses, I had grammar homework and reading assignments that, often, seemed to be busy work, but with this course, I did not think that was the case.…

It feels like so long ago when I first began this English course. I can remember being so excited about the class topic, racism and social justice, which I felt that I had a lot of passion for. Little did I know that I would have to gather up even more enthusiasm and passion to be able to continue writing papers about the same topic all semester long. This course has tested my endurance, and at many times my patience, and for that I am thankful because I know in the end, it has made me a better writer. Despite various minor challenges this semester I believe that I have put in the hard work that it takes and I have achieved the course goals and will complete this class feeling fulfilled and accomplished.…

On my first day of college I was incredibly nervous about multiple obstacles I was about to face. One of my biggest worries was how I would manage to pass a college English class. However, when I walked in the classroom and saw my old high school classmates Jace and Lauren, I became a bit more comfortable. I was also relieved to discover that the class was very small and the teacher was not scary at all, unlike my prior belief.…

Contrary to the general definition of inquiry, Charles Peirce describes inquiry as “the struggle to escape doubt and attain a settled or “fixed” state of belief” (lecture 1/12/17). Based off his definition containing belief and doubt, Peirce would affirm that people are often content with belief and will try to eliminate all traces of doubt. In order to accomplish his definition of “inquiry”, Peirce describes four methods of “fixing belief” that many people tend to choose in order to settle their beliefs. His four methods are, the method of tenacity, the method of authority, the a priori method, and the method of science. Each of these methods will (1) present an idea of what truth is, (2) display the failure of the method, and (3) reveal what…
