I have been playing soccer for an organization called AYSO, since the age of five. This organization is overseen at Liberty Park, which previously was a burn dump before the conversion to a park. As a kid I was very care free and never thought about the consequences that may follow an ignorant decision. Over the years I adopted the nickname “wild child” by my parents because I wore shoes the least I could, but my bad habit quickly changed in the matter of one day.
It was a hot afternoon at Liberty Park and my team and I were all waiting for our next game to start. As a result of the heat all the parents and players would move their chairs under trees for shade. My wild eight year old self sat shaded under a large tree taking my cleats off
