Wilbur Wright was born on April 16th, 1867 in Millville, Indiana. Although Wilburs most known sibling is Orville, he actually had five other brothers and sisters. There names were Katharine, Lorin, Ida, Otis, and Reuchlin. Wilbur also grew up with a mother and father named Susan and Milton Wright. Before Wilbur grew up as a very intelligent child and excelled in school. He was planning on attending Yale University until he injured himself during an ice hockey game. After this, Wilbur became depressed. He did not end up graduating from high school but instead spent most of his days sitting at home reading and taking care of his ill mother, Susan, who was diagnosed with Tuberculosis.
