Formal Structure
The Wicomico County Health Department is departmentalized by programs. The structure was selected because the agency has four programs which includes the following; Psychiatric rehabilitation, Behavioral health, Addiction, and Targeted case management. Each of the program offers divers services that requires specialized knowledge and skills that promotes the emotional health of the resident in the community.

On the other hand, the organization has the ability to adapt to change because its policies and structure changes to suit the needs of the client population severed, through evaluation of practice.
