Wicksteed Park

On our analysis of Wicksteed Park, we found that on average that more men then woman visit the park. During our findings, we found that out of 10 people, 70% were male this equates to a ratio 7:3 men to women. This could be down to the fact that the park is more aimed at theme park rides. Generally, this is more enjoyed by males than females. Another reason may be why I gained these results could be down to the fact of where I was when I observed a number of people walking by at the given time. I collected this result near the “Arena” this is where the main rides are located again this could influence my results. During the visit, I also collected result on age group, when I collected my results and made my pie chart I found out that almost half of those asked were in the allocated age range of 30-44 years of age. This suggests that many people during the visit in which I asked the question, “How old are you”. Could have young children which are too young for school. Also, the results showed that out of a possible 10 people asked 0 answered to being over the age of 75. 50% said that there visit would be rated outstanding. This is half the amount questioned. Only one out of 10 people said that there visit had been rated poorly, with these results you could suggest that Wicksteed Park, is ticking all the right boxes for the majority of people. However there was 1 person who rated it poor this could be simply down to the weather that day, or simply put as that the person questioned was in a bad mood. The question did help on the question “Do you think Wicksteed Park will be sustainable in the future”. On the results of this question I would say yes but other factors could change the fate of which Wicksteed Parks sustainability as a theme park for the whole family to
