Sports can keep you “sane”
The key to you being able to stay sane and keep going to school since in the text it states “It’s 11:30 the night before a big test, and you still have four more chapters to study. You’re exhausted, but you won’t be able to sleep--you’re too jittery. Your fingers tap the desk, and you mind races about what will happen if you fail. Thank goodness you have track tomorrow morning! Practices are the key to your sanity.” This supports my answer since if you couldn’t stand school before than will you if the sports are taken away. Maybe. But highly unlikely if you couldn’t stand school before. Practices give you something to look forward to.

the text states… “Public schools are all about “equal opportunity.” This term means that everyone, no matter who they are, receives the same opportunities.” This supports my answer since anybody gender or race aside can mabey become the star of the football team or be the best golfer in 5 years. The text also states “ If we cut back school sports, some kids will find themselves shut out of sports completely. “ This further supports my answer since if we got rid of sports the cost for a private league is super expensive and most families can’t afford that so they might not be able to do
