Why You Should Not Be Mandatory?

It is well known that standing is what is mandatory to do during the pledge.

As the pledge comes on, everyone begins standing and faces the flag. All around

the United States people stand during events such as: football games, in the

mornings students stand at school, and at patriotic events. Why should this be

mandatory? The pledge should not be mandatory because people may not

believe everything in the pledge, some people may not know what the pledge is,

and it takes away rights.
