Why would someone inhale something that would harm their body?
According to American Heart Association, the nicotine inside the tobacco, which is inside of a cigarette, is what makes the cigarettes so addicting and keeps people using them. Smoking is not something anybody should be doing. It´s a proven fact that smoking cigarettes on a daily basis, will show effects in your lungs as you grow. ¨ Tobacco is the leading cause for preventable death in the United States,¨ (Volunteer for Social Change). Other tobacco products besides cigarettes, includes dip, Electronic Cigarettes, Hookah, Kreteks, etc. . Tobacco products are killing more and more people on a daily basis. This is a proven fact. When a smoker dies, their lungs will be burnt up and black, causing it to malfunction. A non-smoker's lungs would be healthy and last a lot longer. Smokers are more likely to die early because of smoking-related diseases. Smoking can cause many different cancers or even a chronic lung disease. Don't put yourself at risk for any of these. Teens all around the world are being affected and nobody is taking care of it. Their futures are going to be affected and so will their body´s. Teens find smoking a cigarette as something that makes them “cool” or helps them to “fit in”. Why would someone need to start a bad habit, to become popular or cool? Getting good grades or being athletic are better ways to try to fit in. Starting bad habits is going to get someone into the wrong friend group and they’ll start hanging out with the wrong people. Nobody should want to be around that stuff. Even inhaling the smoke from a cigarette can still affect your lungs. Besides, “why fit in when you were born to stand out?” (Dr.
