Why When Hitler Stole Pink Rabbit

I am giving my book “When Hitler Stole Pink Rabbit” by Judith Kerr a 3 and these are some of the reasons why. In the very beginning of this book the author made you want to keep reading and never stop. She did this by explaining each character a little each time you read about them. For example, when Anna explained to her father how Fraulein Lambeck said that she adores her father in much more than a friendly way, but everyone makes fun of her because of that. But once you got passed the part where they had settled into the new home in Switzerland there was not much action. Until another German family vacationed at the same apartment building as them, but this family was

To say that I am a reader would be a stretch. I can not remember the last time I picked up a book for my own personal pleasure. Some would say that should bother me, but I can’t agree with the reasoning behind it. Mostly people bring up how books have broadened their horizons and changed their way of thinking, which is something I can’t relate to. Instead, I would say that I agree with what a good book should do, but I can‘t say I have found a good book, or a page turner if you will.…

Although I didn’t like Bilbo Baggins at the start, I grew to enjoy his character the most. I loved to see how his personality developed over time and how he managed to get over a myriad of obstacles. One thing I didn’t like about the story was how there were so many characters. It was difficult to keep track of and I don’t think they will be very memorable for me. There was a lot of action and it was very interesting.…

Wise Blood, the first novel written by Flannery O’ Connor, it has been recognized by many readers and philosophers as an unusual piece and strangest novel. It deals with religions, Jesus Christ, people seeking for religion and redemption. Many writers have analyzed the novel and have many different points of view towards it. They have also pointed out that Wise Blood, does not have a plot. Meaning there was no question in the beginning, and no answer left at the end of it.…

A perfect book for the school to read would need to be an exciting book, a long book, and one with tons of action! The book needs to have dramatic moments where readers are trapped reading until they find out what happens. The school needs to read a book series called "The Elementia Chronicles". The book would go great because none of the teachers, or even students would even know what the book is about. While the book isn't a classic, it has tons of action and moments where you are excited to read.…

I am reading the book Diary of a Wimpy Kid, it is by Jeff Kinney the book is a realistic fiction genre, this book has 217 pages in it. A customer on goodreads posted a review on this book and they said, “This was so cute and funny, I laughed out loud many times even the comedy books I have read didn’t make me laugh this hard!” I think a good age for this book is maybe from a 6th grade middle schooler to an adult would be an appropriate age, this age because there is a little bit of language, and I don’t think younger kids would understand all of it. What has happened so far in my book is Greg went to school and the bad thing about picking just a random seat anywhere is that the teacher at any time can just come out and say, “ hope you like…

The Plot Against America by Philip Roth is a decent read, with a few key issues. Due to the accuracy of Philip Roth's writing, the plot is slow and overdramatized. The Plot Against America imagines an alternate American history where FDR is defeated in the 1940 election by Charles Lindbergh. Lindbergh is a known supporter of the Nazi Party, and as president he works hard to enforce their policies in America. The main problem with the book is it's incredibly slow plot.…
