School districts can use dwindling resources more effectively by hiring more guidance counselors and social workers, Chu said.¨ It made the school safer and students who were not convicted were too paranoid to keep up the drug trafficking or usage. It made the number of students who were using them in school decrease. I wish that more things like that at my school took place and more actions were taken to protect the people at our schools. But even when test are taken and schools are searched no rules are broken, people will still argue that their rights have been violated. Others feel like the new idea and things that have taken place make children and parents uncomfortable and they feel like they have limited rights everywhere. I’m happy that some schools have started the scared straight program and started trying to help drug abuse kids in other ways besides conflict. But some parents or somebody in your family is probably dying or being criminally convicted because of a drug related issue that why I feel that if you know they are here and people are using them why not find out a way to put them in a useful
