Drones, which are also known as unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), are aircraft controlled by the pilots at the command center on the ground. Drones are virtually controlled and does not require any pilot physically present in the aircraft. Basically, drones are categorized in two groups, those which used for surveillance mission and those which used for assault mission, but nowadays, most of the drones used in military warfare are equipped with both groups of equipment which enabled for multi-purpose use. In the recent year, drones are gaining its popularity in military warfare around the world, most of the strikes are conducted by the United State government in most of the recent war.

Drones are exceptionally useful compared to any other alternative military statics in military warfare. The fact is, drones are serviceable when it comes to military intelligence collection in a location where geographically hard to reach to the ground. According to Cohen (2015), it cost approximately from eighteen thousand dollars to one hundred and sixty nine thousand dollars to maneuver a manned aircraft, this figure shows six to forty two times more expensive than carry out a drone strike. Not even that, according to Fox (2015), in the United States, Democratic administrated government is not giving up drones strike as of its efficiency in military warfare, even Republicans who always doubt to Obama’s administration are not held against the decision in regards to the morality of drone strikes. On top of that, drones are gaining its popularity by most of the parties all around the world due to its nature of efficiency. According to Ratnesar (2013), a poll was taken in February 2013 showed the result of fifty six percent of Americans are supporting the drone strikes which currently conducted by the government against warfare, supporters also backed by sixty eight percent of Republicans, fifty eight percent of democrats and fifty percent of independents.
