Recently cell phones have gotten more and more better, and people like it. People enjoy texting their friends and family, playing games, watching videos and movies, or just listening to music. But it’s mainly children that do these kind of things, whether it’s in school, or at a friend’s house, or anywhere really. Cell phones are amazing, but should they be allowed in school? I mean they are cool and all, but can a small cell phone affect a child’s big mind? Well yes it can. And what I mean by this is that a cell phone can be very distracting to a child in a classroom, and can even distract the whole class if it goes off. Plus not only that, but it can be used for cheating. So for those who think phones are perfect for school, well think again because there's a whole list of negatives. …show more content…
According to www.useoftechnology.com, students will often stay more focused on their social media such as twitter, facebook, etc. Rather, instead of studying or using their time appropriately. Not only that but if a student uses his/her phone instead of studying for something like a test for example, he/she will most likely fail the test.
