Why We Should Stop Racism

It is no secret that racism still exists. Racism should stop because it is one of the world’s major issues today and it is happening not only in America, but all around the world. Based on many studies, people have died because of racism over the years. Racism comes from different cultural values, ethnic backgrounds, and physical appearances. The United States is known for racial discrimination. If racism stops the hate to each other would also stop. Many people still do not know how common racism is today.

Racism causes hate to each other, many people get bullied everyday just for being different from the rest. Racism usually begins with hate and it can actually lead to death. Many students get left out and bullied just because of their skin color, or the way they look and dress. Sadly many of these students do not let anybody know about it and all the hate can lead them to do bad things with their lives just because they do not get help from their parents, teachers or counselors. They can not handle it by themselves. There are many reasons of why we should stop racism. Based on an article, “over 62 million human beings in the last 100 years have died” (Malik). Being discriminated is in no way good, it makes people feel bad about themselves, “20% of every 100,000,000 million people are affected by racism” (Tanner). Racism is getting worse and worse everyday, sadly we are having more racism at school, workplace, and every public place. “According to the news, “in 2012 police officers shot to death two African Americans after shooting one hundred and forty shots; they said it was a reverse discrimination, but it was all an act of racism” ( Malik). Some people think being racist is
