Today, Students paid an average of about $31,000 a year in tuition and fees to attend a four-year college. As a result, many students have moved to community colleges, where fees and tuition averaged about $4,000 a year. Therefore, most of the undergraduates attend a community college. Childcare is a major issue for all parents especially for mothers. We can see that most of the students in hccc are mothers. Because of their children they are not able to go to college. Even though Hudson county community college is cheaper than universities, yet they do not offer childcare services. As far as I am consider, Hudson county community college should provide childcare facility because it would allow parents to get a education while providing care for their children, and it will help students earn a little bit of money by working at the childcare center.
Firstly, hccc should provide child care facility because it would allow parents to get a better education while supplying care for their children. Many students’ from hccc work in different departments such as library, bookstore, or tutoring center. Studies have also shown that students who work on campus are more likely to continue with their studies. They become better familiarizer with stuff, faculty, and other students as well. Hccc should also add up childcare center because more students will have a chance to earn money while attending classes. Hudson county community college should offer tax-credit for any college graduate who develops oneself in childcare. Tax credit surely help student offset the costs such as tuition, fees, textbooks of college by decreasing the amount of their income
