I’m in highschool and I have my phone with me at all times. When I get confused on what a word means or in spanish how to say it I usually just pull my phone out and look it up instead of disrupting the teacher to ask them what it means. When I get confused on what a word means or how to say a word in my classes ,such as Spanish, I usually take out my phone and use the internet to find the information I need instead of disrupting the teacher to ask them what it may mean. Some of my teachers wait for the class to tell them what the definition is and sometimes nobody knows so they tell us to look them up and without phones it might take awhile to get the definition from the book. I use my cell phone daily. I’m in government right now and everyday we do current events and I have to look up on CNN what's happening in the world that day. Maybe younger students do not need cell phones as much high schoolers, but they are needed at times. Students can use cell phones in the situation that they forgot something at home and need their parents to bring it to them. “If a student forgot his homework or calculator on the day of a calculus test, he could call his parents and ask them to bring it without a big scene,” said kwikboost.
