Why We Should Minimum Wage Be Abolished Essay

It's that annoying time of year again with commercials all over the televisions, signs and decorations all over the lawns of houses, and you can't even listen to the radio with out hearing about it, and no it's not Christmas time it's election time. With Elections comes all the fanfair about who should we actually vote into office. Even though I personally believe politics has turned into a joke if I had to vote for somebody I would vote for Bernie Sanders. I believe Bernie Sanders should be president based on his view over the issues considering minimum wage, health care for veterans, and believing all public high education should be free.
Minimum wage is the lowest amount a person can be paid for while working a job, but it is no where near enough money to live off of. Americans working hourly jobs while trying to support a family is nearly impossible. Jobs at places like McDonald's and Burger King will always be around and will always need people to work for them unfortunately that means that some people will try and make a living at one of those jobs and will not be able to because the cost of …show more content…
This debt will take years to pay off and for some might prohibit them from buying a house or taking out any other loans they may need in their life time. Many students simply don't go to college due to not being about to afford the higher education and will get stuck working a minimum wage job. If Bernie were to be elected into office he would make sure to implement a system so that no matter of your economic status anyone would be able to afford getting a higher education. He would accomplish this simply by taxing Wall Street. If the tax payers can pay for the accommodations of criminals that have thrown their lives away and pay for the bail out of Wall Street then in return the government should be able to make tuition free for the future generations of American
