RMHS officials had asked a majority of their students one question, should RMHS have school uniforms? A majority of the students had given the answer no. The majority of those students had particularly stated about their own opinions more than the statistics on how uniforms affect the school. Now, if the officials had asked the staff on how they felt about RMHS approving school uniforms. Do you think the staff will put more opinion into their answers like the students, or will they focus on the bigger picture which is the school? The answer is obvious, most adults look at the problem more statistically rather than putting on how they feel into their answers. Students do give the correct answer, as in how they feel about uniforms, but do you think they actually think more about the answer rather than making a choice right away? So under those circumstances, students can simply borrow a few uniforms for the year if they meet the requirements, then they can return them until next year. This helps the parents and their budget issues, since this could be possibly available to the parents they don’t have to pay unless they damage the uniform or lose it.
Not only does uniforms prevent bullying, uniforms can also decrease chances on school shootings/attacks occurring. Uniforms allows the staff to see if there are any intruders because the intruder simply does not have the uniform, which guarantees more safety.
