We’ve all played some kind of sport in Middle School. Sports are an awesome part of middle school, but I believe we should cut sport due to us not having as much money. I think we should cut sports because we came to school to learn, there is a low academic impact in grades, and there is health concerns.
Most of the money is being used to fund sports. According to Nix After School Sports, "$1,300 per football player each season and $618 per math student." By banning sports were would be able to use that money to buy supplies for school such as more science equipment, more textbooks, etc. To add on we are the lowest ranking state.
