Why We Should Be Year Round School

Should school be year-round? No because it's way too long to have the time for school. Some people struggle with having ten months. Now, it will be way worse if it's twelve months. What about the kids who go visit their families over the summer or go to camp in the summers? They won’t have the proper time to do these preferable activities. Families would not prefer year-round school becauses they also would want to spend time with kids during the summer or they want to spend family time and vacations during their break and not have to worry about multiple missing assignments and grades. It puts pressure and stress on the student and their family. It would be much more difficult and stressful to have year-round school. Summer time is meant to take a break from all of the sheets of homework given and have time to spend with your family and friends. People want to take that away and have year round school. Yes, you don't forget things over that long break that’s given. Lots of kids need the summer break. Some kids struggle going through those days of school. Now make them do it for twelve months? Waking up early or have lots of homework after school when it's really sunny and he/she would rather be playing with his friends or at the pool. Students seem to be more moody and depressed. Overwhelmed with work, grades, friends, environments. Students become stressed to a point students would get sick, tired, mood swings, etc. Mentally, students are changing due to long periods of school time. School is time consuming. Students should have their time to have extra sleep time, fun activities, and family vacation
