Why We Should Be Year Round School

School year round-An unwise decision The topic that I will be going over is a very touchy subject. The subject is, should school be year-round? No school should not be a year-round thing, and I will explain why. We are already in school for nine months, some students use their summer to work, make money, and enjoy life. The school would have rising cost, electricity bills, the schools budget, etc. Also for the schools sake, what about rising costs, electricity bill, utilities, or even running out of money for the whole year. My second to last point is that what about scheduling options, babysitters, day care, and parents can’t just drop everything to watch their kids, they have jobs too. My last major reasoning would be that students need to be out, and enjoying the nice air, they all need to be able to just get out, play with other kids, and enjoy the nice days that we have in the summer. We all enjoy our summers away from school, there is no reason that we should be in school every week, of every year. …show more content…
A lot of us students that go to school do not have everything paid for by either our parents, or grandparents. Most Students in this small town work for everything they have, some students have to work to pay for gas, food, shelter, etc. We as students need a break from school, we should not be just sitting in school all year round, we will need a break, and we will run out of money. I do not believe that this would be a very wise choice, just for the reasons that some of us live on our own, support our self’s day in and day out, we have no one else to fall back
