Wiles was on target with her main idea with her audience. Wiles reached out to the more curious younger generations by titling her article “Why We Explore”. If people were wondering why NASA is trying to study Mars and how NASA is …show more content…
In Wiles last paragraph where she discussed mars she said “Robotic missions have found evidence of water, but if life exists beyond Earth still remains a mystery.” NASA has found water from their Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter but the International treaty that was signed back in 1967 will not allow the robot to investigate the site. NASA thinks the rover flight from Earth to Mars might have pick up some dirt, dust, or other microbes that would not make the liquid water anywhere near sterile. That means the only way humans can investigate it is if humans themselves travel to Mars and collect it themselves. This new information only makes scientist more eager to finding a way to get to Mars. With NASA’s last mission in 2014 where they landed a rocket on Comet 67P only shows that humans are making head way onto discovering new techniques on flying space crafts. Most of Wiles work is supported by other recent articles for example if you read “NASA’s Journey To Mars” you will find them still working on a way to travel from Earth to Mars in the ISS(International Space Station) and her paragraph on “Why Mars” has supporting details in it from “NASA’s Journey To Mars”. Even though this article is two years old it has very reliable information in it. What is different about this article is Wiles never used any hyperlinks in this particular article. Hyperlinks are very common in web based articles to show more supporting articles on the writer’s
