On April 14, 1865, president Abraham Lincoln was assassinated at Forde’s Theatre. John Wilkes Booth killed him during a play there. Lincoln was fatally shot in the head, and died a few hours after the shot. Abraham Lincoln was killed because of the fact that he was a trusted, powerful leader that was able to make great changes to the U.S during his time. I believe that his assassination was wrong, and if Lincoln was alive through his full term, and he still had great plans for the U.S. Booth’s motives to kill president Lincoln were all focused on getting revenge.
