Why Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone Was Banned
Books are banned for numerous reasons, some are of plausible causes and others not so much. The book I have chosen is Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone by J.K. Rowling. I think that she is an amazing author and the Harry Potter series is full of adventure and a world to escape into but, obviously, others think differently. As with all opinions, not everyone will share yours. That seems to be the case as the first Harry Potter book was banned for containing violence, promoting witchcraft, and giving off a vibe for being scary.
