Hamlet by William Shakespeare has become one of his most popular revenge-tragedy play that he had ever written. Hamlet portrayed more of a tragic play than a revengeful one because the late King’s unfortunate death was their only desire for revenge. The incident led Hamlet to seek vengeance, which caused the death of most characters in the play, the madness of some and the downfall of the protagonist himself. The root of this tragic story began with the death of Hamlet’s father, the late King of Denmark.…

The tale of Hamlet by William Shakespeare is that of a young prince who comes home for the funeral of his father but finds out through his father's ghost that his father's death was a murder. The murderer of his father was Claudius, the king's brother. The ghost then says to Hamlet "Revenge his foul and most unnatural murder"(1.5.25). Ethical Issues In Hamlet

Hamlet has gone from automatically accepting Claudius’ authority as king to despising him altogether, and nowhere on that spectrum did he find a point which would allow him the two parts of perspective which he needed. Hamlet needed to recognise within himself the freedom to act, and the reasons for which he was acting, which he did not until it was too late. Hamlet is, ultimately, a tragedy, because Hamlet had this fundamental flaw of mindset. He could not take control of his own actions, because he was not accustomed to doing so. The Prince of Denmark was, to the end,…

Some of the lessons I learned from watching Hamlet is that holding a grudge and wanting revenge on someone is not always the best option. In the movie Hamlet wants revenge on his Uncle because his Uncle Claudius because he killed Hamlet 's father. Yeah that 's a really bad thing to do but in the end of the play Hamlet gets his revenge but he pays the price to because the girl he loved died, his mother died, and Hamlet himself died all because he had so much anger towards his Uncle because he killed his Father. I think Shakespeare wanted his audience to get out of the play is that getting revenge is not always the best answer because even your closest family and loved ones could get hurt by the actions of you and others that you enlisted into getting your revenge.…

Hamlet is a tragedy written by William Shakespeare sometime between 1599 and 1602, during the renaissance era. It is classified as a tragedy because most of the main characters of the play, including the protagonist, Hamlet, end up dead in the final scene.
