One reason this scholarship award is important to my family and I is because of the price. To some people $1,500 may not seem like that much money, but I look at it is $1,500 less that I will have to pay. I am a triplet, which means that all three of us will be going to college next fall. Although my parents do not seem too concerned about the upcoming price tag of college, I know that I want to do as much as possible to lower the price. Whether it is working or filling out scholarships, I want to earn as much as I can now instead of procrastinating. Another reason this scholarship is important to me is because of the opportunity.
