The story that stuck out most to me was the story of when she met Dr. Medelev. Besides the guards he was the first person she saw when she arrived to the concentration camp that warm summer morning. She tells of how he would either point to the right or left and that would determine of you lived or not. While this was going on she was split up from her sisters. Her oldest sister was put on the right and was spared but herself and her younger siblings were put on the left sentenced to death in the gas chambers. Without even thinking she jumped lines leaving her younger sisters to die and never be heard from again. To me this just seemed so un-real even going through the museum and seeing the photos of what was going on there I still couldn't quite fathom what was happening and I honestly don't think I will ever be able
