World war one was one of the bloodiest conflicts in all of history the number of solders who died in this war is unbearable it was about 18, 0000 million. This was a war of industrialization there was airplanes and tanks and cars this was changing war in way that would be more brutal use too it was just one side and the other charging at each other but this was a different type of war a war based on machines not men even though there was infantry and they did charge at each other this was the most brutal war ever fought on this earth they used mustard gas which would eat your skin off. There were some major battles in this conflict like the battle of Tannenberg was a huge battle on the Eastern front where the Russians were fighting the Germans.

The Great War was fought on many continents Europe, Africa, the Middle East, the Pacific islands, China and off the coast of south and North America. This war only lasted for 4 years and the total of casualties was 68,208,171 that’s was just the soldiers for the allies and central powers. This was also a war of aviation every front had aircraft and these planes were not the best when the war first some of them the engine would cut of in the middle of the air and this is how most pilots died at the beginning of the war it was risky to fly them old planes but brave men were willing to do it. This was also a war fought on every continent there was not a single place at peace this was truly a world war no one was safe from the German Huns as the British propaganda would say to try to get people to join the war France and Great Britain were already in the war from the start they were trying to get other countries in the war because they needed more allies to fight the Germans and the Austrian-Hungarian
