The Amazon River Dolphin lives only in freshwater, and are mostly found throughout the Amazon River and the Orinoco River. Some of these Dolphins have even been spotted in different places in South America, including Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Guyana, Perú and Venezuela. The Boto finds its shelter throughout the Amazon River and Orinoco River. The more murky the water is, the more likely a pink Dolphin will be traveling around. The murky water makes them less visible and more unnoticeable, which along with their echolocation helps them hunt.
