Why Testing Is Important To Me

As a person the greatest test or challenge that has altered and molded me into the person I am today is to learn how not to be intimidated by something that is large or “scary”. It could be anything a person, a test, a grade, or even a thought. This helps me with everything in life because if you're not frightened you can focus on things that matter. For example, when I’m playing sports and a competitor is big and scary naturally someone would be afraid to play against them but, you do not have a clue who they are or what skill sets they have. The person might be the nicest and gentle person you have ever met and that is what I think when I play sports. Another example is when the your teacher tells you that a huge test is coming up and could put a dent in your …show more content…
My mom first started crossfit and i thought it wouldn’t help me and it’s for women but one day my mom convinced me to go and it was the hardest workout I have ever done. The coach told me that i could compete in a competition with him in a few months if i start to come and work out over there. I had nothing else to do so i started to get in way better shape i got way stronger than the competition came and i did great but not against 12 year olds like myself but against men. I stopped crossfit when football season came i was a lot faster and that's when i knew crossfit was helping me out alot. Finally, i was struggling in math in elementary school so my mom got me a tutor i hated that i never wanted to go to math class on the weekend like who does. When i started to notice a difference in my grade and how i could figure out things i kind of liked going there. Now i'm at the top of the class in mathematics. My fight to get better in everything i do helps me out a whole bunch. Those are the two most important demonstrations of my sense of self improvement and
