Next, teens should be starting school later for the reason that if a teen does not sleep the amount needed there could be problems in their life. As a teen myself I understand what it feels like to not have enough energy to carry out the rest of the day. It can interfere with my learning and the way I am around people. There are claims that if the time for school to start was to be changed to a later time teens would just go to sleep a lot later. That isn't true, teens wont go to sleep later because the time they go to sleep stays the same, but the time to get up changes. A "Ted Talk by Wendy Troxel a Sleep Researcher ", states that yes, it will be harder if you have a job or do a sport. It will bring many more challenges, for example, updating bus routes and care for the teens after classes. These are main problems, but they are things we must face and go through if we truly do want to do whats best for teens. Those are the reasons why I support late school
