Why should students wear school uniform?
School uniforms are turning into a well-known pattern amongst schools. Students became more interested in what they wear at school more than what they will learn. Therefore, schools nowadays requiring students to wear school outfits to let them focus on the main goal that they came to do. Wearing school uniforms effects not only students, but their parents and teachers in a good way that make the school life easier and enjoyable. According to (Tucker,2013) , wearing school uniforms policy raised to 49 percent. Although many students and parents believe that school outfits are not necessary, there are many others who feel that wearing school uniforms is effective

However, (Jimenez,2009) stated that uniforms do not stop the students from showing their personalities , and they can add to their uniforms many things like shoes , jewelry and buttons . Students can still express themselves by creating their own style of the school uniform without changing the formal dress. Wearing the same clothes for all students prevent bullying because no one will look different. When all students wear the same cloths, there will not be difference between the rich and the poor student . Moreover, if a student looks richer by the way he dress , he will think that he have a higher level or more power , so he will grow a gang and begin to make fun and harass other kids who cannot afford expensive clothes or wear the same outfit every day of the week ; therefore , according to (Tucker,2013) the percentage of bullying in schools due to the difference in levels decreased to 36 because of wearing school uniform …show more content…
However, according to a national survey of 2013 shows that 94% of parents agree that school uniform is more cost – effective than regular outfits. Actually wearing uniform helps to reduce the money paid on casual clothes, hence students will have to change their outfits every day during the year and pay more money to get fashionable clothes to impress their peers. Besides that casual clothes used for school is different from the clothes chosen for outside of school so two different wardrobes can become exhausting on the wallet. Therefore wearing uniforms will be more affordable for the families who are coming from different financial levels and cheaper because first of all they don’t have to change it from day to day, parents usually get two uniforms in the beginning of the year and that set, second of all usually the uniforms are dark colored so they don’t need to be washed and changed every day. Furthermore it is not only cheaper but actually easier to wear and more comfortable for example students who wear uniforms need less time to dress up, while students who wear casual clothes will spend much more time every morning thinking of what to wear every
