Some families have ill family members who need constant attention and prefer close family members instead of strangers to take care of them. Ill members aren’t the only ones that need taking care of because there are also kids that need to be taken care of: brothers, sisters, or even their own kids. A student who dropped out might have gotten pregnant in college and had to drop out because of it. Some families have trouble paying bills, so the student usually helps out. If the situation gets critical to the point they have to work full-time, this would make it very difficult to attend college. I have a family member who got married at the age of 18. Shortly after she got married, she got pregnant. She then couldn’t attend college and had to stay home taking care of their first child as her husband was working. She couldn’t even take online courses because she had to constantly watch over the child.
