Why Students Break In High School

One major step many teenagers face is the transition from middle school to high school. In high school, classes get harder, friends get fewer, and fitting in becomes more difficult than before. Starting such a new terrifying experience is already a tough job itself. However, the necessity to fit in and find others who have the same interests can be challenging. The problem is that if a student does not behave as other students, or enjoy the same things as other students, then, they can be excluded easily. I have personally seen a student get picked on and made fun of for being different. The student did not like to hang out with a certain crowd. The crowd felt as if the student was not worthy of even being a part of their group anyway. So, the crowd started to pick with the student and make the student feel bad. Most of the time, during high school cliques start to form. Only a certain type of student can be in a certain group. If a student does not fit into that particular group then, that student is an outcast. By not conforming like other students would like them to these students become excluded. If a student is different or strange to other students, then, that student does not fit in. In some circumstances, those students becomes the targets for humility.
Next in line, one effect of students not fitting in during high school is the process of becoming unsocial. Students who are excluded from the rest of the student population are most of the time unsocial. These students feel as if they do not fit in so they withdraw from everyone.
