Why Struggling Is Important

From a young age, we learn that struggling is a bad thing, that it’s something that you got to get rid of. But what if it really isn’t something to worry about? What if it’s something new and exciting that you get to do? Struggling may not be a bad thing at all, it’s only a way to improve and expand yourself. Struggle is the psychological motivation and passion to persistently attempt at a task over the long-term. Clinging onto your goals and keeping up with it will ultimately bring you success. That’s exactly why you need to persist and work hard to reach that goal. Following through your commitments, and have the passion to persist along with your efforts. Between all the persistency and efforts, struggling to do something isn’t always successful. Plenty of people just gives up after they fail, but struggle isn’t just trying to do something, it is to give you the passion and motivation to get back on your feet and try harder next time with what you’ve learned with your failures. …show more content…
Most of us would rather just do things fast, and avoid the long and harsh suffering that we have to go through to achieve our ultimate goals; but life isn’t at all fast, it’s a long journey, so we have to “live life as a marathon and not a sprint.” We need to work on being attached with our future instead of being stuck with what we have. Think about the future, what would you like to see? You can be successful, you can be a better person, you can be, in theory, almost anything you want, as long as you work hard enough right now. These processes probably takes years to achieve, but that’s the point, live life as a marathon and not a sprint. If you are reading this, you’re likely still young, and that means you’ve a long path ahead of yourself; you can sacrifice a few years of enjoyment, with enough effort, in a few years you can enjoy yourself even
