Why Stretching Is Important Essay

Stretching is an exercise usually missed or cut short before and after a workout. As people get older they generally gain more and more responsibility in their everyday lives. Working out and maintaining flexibility usually is not priority on the laundry list of other tasks that need to be accomplished. My high paced life has caused me to forget about how important maintaining flexibility is. It is not until I watched all five of the video’s, that I realized I was cutting short an important part of my workout routine, and not to make matters worse but if I did plan according and stretched that day, it has always been the same three stretches (standing hamstring stretch, standing calf stretch, and standing quadriceps).
