They have someone that they can count on when they need someone. Having more than one is seeing how different they both are and how alike they are. I feel that having more than one it benefits in learning and understanding how to share and communicate with their peers. When you have a sibling you are more compassionate than just being the only child. The other children are able to entertain themselves with each other than you have to always help them out. It is very expensive when you have more than one but the benefits out weigh that. I see many parents who decided to have only one child, and they seem so peaceful. I have noticed that with having more than one you will give attention to the one child, which means that the only child will feel loved and attended

Being an older child in a family does not always have its benefits. Sometimes it puts you at a disadvantage when having younger brothers/sisters. Your parents might let them get away with more than they ever let you get away with, or they might even take up for them more than they would you. Having your parents and relatives take up for them in times that you know they should be either upset or disappointed in them might make you try to point it out to them.
