Through each generation people are taught to strive for greatness. This journey starts in elementary and continues all the way into high school and into college also. However, some teens do not what to strive for their best and stop at high school. Many parents, however, may try to force their child into attending college, but many believe that it would be a failed try at making their child into something they are not.
When teens graduate from high school virtually all of those students are all eighteen years of age or above. Once a person becomes eighteen years old then they are considered an adult. Once they are adult then they have the right to make their own decision, such as whether or not they should attend college. Moreover, with that much responsibility teens will go to other people for advice. Oftentimes teens will go to their parents for advice. Nearly all of those teens do go on to attend college, but for the few that went right into the work force that is their own choice and not one that can be forcibly upon someone. …show more content…
They are either really tired of school and don’t want to be there any longer, or are fine by attending school. Teens that are tired of being at school are essentially all in the same type of mindset. These students are either struggling to pass certain classes or they do not care about their education nearly as much as they ought to. Once these student graduates from high school, what is stopping them from continuing this type of behavior in colleges and universities? If this type of performance does continues into college than their parent are paying for their education are just throwing their hard earned money
