It was the time I knew I can do big things as a freshman. I Am short and small compared to most freshman, so playing soccer with others is intimidating. I was eager to play soccer with sophomores, juniors, and seniors. What I didn’t realize is how nerve racking it would be. This is an experience I will never forget. It was our first practice as a team, and I was skittish. As I approached practice, I noticed the many girls who seemed like giants to me. Right then I knew I couldn’t play soccer with them. I glanced around and saw unfamiliar faces. I’ve seen most of the people on the team because my sisters played with them, but they seemed like strangers to me. We finally started practicing, and I already messed up in a drill. The thing is, I kept messing up the whole practice! My stomach, then started to feel achy like I just got stabbed 5 times.
